The Library’s workforce is consistent with national demographics for the profession. Though the EEO Assessment Tool from the Department of Human Resource Management indicates disparate impact in some areas, the Library has provided legitimate nondiscriminatory justification in all cases. Policies are consistently applied and there are rarely EEO issues. Grievances are rare and 95% or more are upheld for management. The Library monitors and utilizes HuRMan and related software tools to assist with decision-making and is fully compliant with state and federal laws.
