DOF had two internal control weaknesses noted in the APA report. DOF has implemented a procedure for updating Construction in Progress quarterly in CARS. We are also working on clearly identifying the specific roles of VITA and DOF and will document the responsibilities of each agency in our COOP plan. This will clear both internal control weaknesses reported in the APA report. |

DOF's percentage with SWAM vendors remains low, but we are constantly working on ways to increase this percentage as an agency. The percentage met does exceed our goal as shown in our annual SWAM Plan. We are holding quarterly training sessions for our buyers and have set up various systems to encourage more participation with SWAM vendors. We are working with the vendors directly to get them certified. (June data on SWAM Dashboard was not available. Reports from eVA were utilized instead so that all quarterly information could be captured). |
